Machinery Diagnostics and Analysis

This course provides the necessary knowledge for the participants to participate within a mechanical maintenance team providing positive influence towards the Operations and Maintenance in a Mechanical and Technological Environment.

The mechanical technician must be able to understand the different problems associated with rotating machinery as well as the most efficient way to analyze problems with this machinery.  Understanding the different operation and maintenance needs of machinery will provide the technician with knowledge and a strong understanding that will assist them in advancing in their training.  In general, machinery related to the operation and production within the oil and petroleum industry has many mechanical characteristics that allow many diagnostics and analysis procedures to be utilized providing safe and efficient operation.

This course will provide a good understanding of the technology related to Machinery Diagnostics and Analysis as well as Preventive Maintenance in the Industry.  The course will provide the learner with an understanding of this technology and its applications at the technician’s level, developing confident and professional enthusiasm, therefore, increasing the safe and productive efficiency that will come through this training.

During the training period the trainee will learn more procedures and diagnostic tools that will assist them in providing efficient maintenance and diagnostics procedures enhancing the maintenance team in their industry

This course is mainly targeted to Mechanical Technicians in Oil and Gas industry working in the field as an introduction or refresher.

The course can also be applicable to employees working with equipment purchasing, procurement, storage, and job planning as well as immediate supervisors to the working technicians.
